(Sept 11th) Never Forget You, Daddy..

11 September 1960

Happy 49th Birthday, Pa!

How I wish I could be right beside you now.
Bring you go makan seafood in a Chinese restaurant.
Oh ya!
I also want to hug you tight tight, pa. I haven't hug you for so long already..
I wish you could see me as how you look at me when I was 5 years old.
Then you can come to me with open arms
:)
How are you, pa?
I feel very sad that you cannot come back to visit.
I want to eat your fried noodle again. They really really taste nice.
But you put too much black kicap.
Hehe...
I want to SMS you but every year, I sure have the guilt in my heart.
Know why?
Because I can't write messages in Chinese.
And that's the only language you mastered.
Each time sure feel sad. I don't know how to communicate with you.
:(
One day, you'll know how much I love you.
Though we're always living far apart from each other,
the love for you will always remain in my heart.
I'll always know that you are the kindest man on Earth!
Next time, I want to put red carpet to welcome you to my home.
And I want to take care of you and mummy till Jesus brings you back Home.
Can?

:)

*hugs & kisses*

(Sept 7th) Childhood Memories

For the past days, I've been sitting in front of the pc and watch some cartoons.
*so excited!!*

From YOUTUBE.com..

I searched for the old Mickey Mouse cartoons and I'm telling ya,
they reminded me of the times when I was a little girl.
And I grew up with Mickey Mouse 1941 The Little Whirlwind.
But I love to watch the black & white episodes!

I opened many of them at once.
And thank God, the internet connection dare not fail me!
I am so... in love with Mickey Mouse once again.
Oh fyi, I loveeeeee Minnie Mouse.
Goofy's laughter still sound weird to me.
Donald Duck.. no comment.

But altogether, they're awesome!

Many
many more to go!
Can't wait to enjoy every bit of the episodes.

Here's a shot of the cartoon I was watching.
Saw Mickey?

Thanks, Disney.
For all you've drawn.. Love every single piece of your cartoons!

:)

(Sept 6th) Odd.

Our only purchase.

I played tennis a while ago.
And it was darn difficult, believe me. I missed many balls.

Suddenly, a ball went pass my cheek. I almost shouted because it hurts.
He quickly came to my rescue and I saw other students on the other court looking.

It hurts. Badly.

And he owes me an ice kacang for that.

(Aug 21st) Something to Ponder

Even when life is very pointy pointy and pokey pokey,
When headaches and pains get into my body,
When Mr. Temptation tempted me to get 5 man taos for RM1,
When I failed to do what I want to do,
When many people get disappointed with me and myself,
When I couldn't achieve what I've promised..

I wouldn't dream of turning back time and let you go..

I need You and Your presence.. :)

Jesus,
You are the lover of My Soul

Life isn't miserable.
It's how we did things that made our lives miserable.

"Smile is a curve that straightens everything."

We were taught how to smile since young.

Presenting my super fav kids: Anya & Vai (from Leonny's Our Everyday Thing)

To attract people.
To let others to know that we are approachable.
To show that we're loveable.
To show that we're carefree.
To let them to know that we are never worried..

But I guess I have to try harder..

(July 28th) The Greatest Time..

(July 24th) Totally Random

Wendy drove me and Charleson to have our lunch in Melaka Raya (Peppermint's neighbour). The shop is filled with people. Working adults. And the price for the food...

His lunch, RM5.80

My lunch, RM4.00

=.=

He claimed that it's the price for working people. Tsk. After that, we went to Jaya Jusco. Wendy wanted to get something for her ex-boss's son, 5 years old. So we were at the toy department, RUSS. And all of us went crazy. I was so totally into this...

SO CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I mean, seriously! It's like you could hang your tiny coats etc etc.. The other "cupboards" have little toys inside. And they turned and swirled. Wow. I didn't know the price. Surprisingly, you know what cute stuffs like that can make me do. Haha! And after walking a bit, we got to a place where there are 50% for some toys.

Charleson bought this..

I think he fell in love with these patches :))

And it's only

Great 50% off.
Haha!

He totally adores it.

Oh by the way, class is cancelled. That's why I was in JJ ;D

Malaysia frees 9 Christians in conversion mix-up
thestar.com.my

Malaysian police Wednesday freed nine Christians who were arrested and held overnight after a university official mistakenly accused them of trying to convert Muslim students.
Held overnight? It's always overnight with any matters at all.

The nine were released without charge, but their arrests could deepen frustrations among religious minorities who feel authorities in this Muslim-majority nation increasingly ignore their rights in favor of Islam. A security officer at the Universiti Putra Malaysia handed the nine suspects to police late Tuesday because he believed they were giving Christian pamphlets to Muslims, said Zahedi Ayob, the police chief of Sepang district near Kuala Lumpur. Police found they were only submitting questionnaires to other Christians for a research project about religious understanding, Zahedi told The Associated Press. Five were students at the university while the others were friends from Hong Kong.
I think the Hong Kong students will just inform their people back home and let's see how many international students would come to the multiracial country. And our country is relying on the exports and the government wants to attract foreigners. Please take note of that.

"I think it was all a misunderstanding by an overzealous security officer," Zahedi said.

Malaysia's Constitution guarantees freedom of worship for minorities, who include Christians, Buddhists and Hindus. But Muslims who try to convert are often sent by Islamic authorities for counseling and rehabilitation, and some have also been imprisoned for apostasy for up to three years.
I seriously feel sad for them. I mean, getting imprisoned for 3 years?

(June 28th) Best Time

I had JDMM 2 hours ago.. And I could tell you that it was the BEST JDMM EVER!
I never talk so much and transperant to the core team.
But if it's for the good sake of the care group, I'm willing..

Anyway, there is only Pai Chet and Phillip..
I guess being open to 2-3 people is much more easier than 7 people ;P

And here is what we did last week...

COLESLAW

We had fresh cabbage but since we were busy for few days, the cabbage looked dull.

Had 2 carrots dipped in water for a few hours. That was before prayer meeting.

He is a great "chopper". He chopped everything like spelling APPLE.

That was him, doing the work. Me? Busy taking pictures. Look at my board!
Took too little to chop. Heh~

When all mixed together.

These was the earlier product. We did this before going for prayer meeting.
He added spoons of sugar inside and let the cabbage to suck the sugar.

The result! Look at the beautiful colour. Very nice green..

Stir and stir. Left and right. Up and down.

He poured the sugar water. We needn't that.

Then, mix with the new batch of cabbage. Look at the difference.

Yum. After spoons of sugar added.

As a normal person who loves Coleslaw would put - Mayo.
Plenty of them!

Stir left and right again. If not enough, put somemore! Yum~

The finished product.
You can serve plain.
Or..

With Sun-Maid Raisins.

Just Grapes and Sunshine, Cabbage and Carrots, and Mayo..

Seriously, the coleslaw tasted so good! I had somemore in the fridge.
But after the first try, we felt we should kept the sugar water :(
