Wherever you go, no matter what the weather,
always bring your own sunshine.

That is true. Couldn't be much happier after seeing that quote.
It really reminds me how I went through the days without much joy or peace. I am calm but I don't think that I am really really sincerely joyful and peaceful. Or probably because I just don't care about anything, that's why I am really calm? Or everything just went normal and I didn't face any challenges so I am calm? Hurmmm... Pretty much loads of stuffs happened these few days.
1. FRIDAY (4/3)
I had my FIRST tuition classes - after MONTHS of not teaching any kid - in a center. It was my FIRST time teaching in a daycare center. And also my FIRST time teaching sooooo many kids. On the first day itself, my first class consists of Standard 2 and 3 students. Awwwwwwwww, they're such lovely lovely minis - oh yea, I think I should start calling them like that :D Shocute and shosmart! Can't believe it. I mean, those kids are super adorable. But on the "bad" side, THEY'RE very very very NOISY! Hmph! But they do listen to me and finish up their homework *blush*.
So that class had like 8 + 4. Yea, that's a lot. And I gotta teach both classes in the same room at the same time. So I had turns. But end up, I got tooooooo busy "serving" the Standard 3 class till I left the other minis. Oh well, the 8 years old found their own way to join in the fun. Especially one little cute girl. She's noisy. But smart! :D
ON MY PART,
I flipped through their workbook and Miss Catherine told me that the minis will learn Possessive Nouns. I was like, what's a possessive noun? What's possessive? I never heard of the term.. Possess I know lar. So I looked at the written meaning and I went "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... EASY EASY!" and it wasn't easy - at all!
Q: Dennis keys are lost.
A: Denni's keys are lost. ✘
Q: The lioness cubs are in the cage.
A: The liones's cubs are in the cage. ✘
Right after the minis went back, I had another class: Standard 5 boys. BOYS. ONLY. But they were friendly in the beginning and I got offended by one of them. Then, I discovered that they knew each other and like to joke! HA! Especially one boy who's the tiniest among all. He's super active and smart too - oh yea, his sister was mentioned above. SURPRISED, SURPRISED! He knows how to speak both English and Mandarin. And he does his given homework! On the "bad" side, he gets to influence others with his dirrrrrty jokes. So, we got some laughter throughout the lessons and they're really good! Almost right at the end of the lesson, I elected that noisy boy a.k.a Green Bee Teo to be the class monitor. Right away, I saw him "fulfilling" his responsibilities at once! LOL.
Oh yea, about the Green Bee Teo thingy.
I asked them to tell me their nicknames in school. And some have it. But others, were created on the spot! Hahahaha! And they loved it. Here's the list of the nicknames:
Professor Lee. Jack Lee. Green Hornet Lee. Big Show Liaw. Genious Lee
Oh by the way, some of them want to be engineers & chefs in the future. WOAWWWWW!
So these kids are really intelligent! They speak good English, like me! I mean, when I was younger of course. I was soooo surprised. I really appreciate their parents for teaching them when they were still toddlers. Well, another good side is that they are not bananas, like me :P
Each word that I said, they laughed. Am I THAT funny?
Or just that I add some stupid tone to what I said and they laughed?
Kids....... :)
2. THURSDAY (3/3)
Had DOMINO'S after life group ;)
And I really like the one with some powdery thingy underneath the bread, with mushroom, mayonaise, and cheeeeeeeese! Slurps! But anyway, pizza ain't my favourite food. When there's pizza, I'll just grab 'em and eat. If there isn't one, I don't care! :D
3. TUESDAY (1/3)
Went for BURLESQUE with my babe Jackline and old time friend Fong. The movie was awesome. I mean, IS AWESOME! I clapped at the end of the movie! I was soooo shocked and surprised at the quality of the movie. But yea, as Jackline said about the story line: needs improvement. But the dance! Blew my mind awayyyyyyyyyy~
SADLY, I didn't have any pictures of us together :( saddest thingy EVER! Hmph. But Jackline promised that she's gonna take pictures with me during weekends. Hahahaha! Oh well, worth the wait ;)
kisskisshughug!
