On Your Special Day

Happy 20th Birthday,
NG YIH MIIN!

This is my first birthday wish to you. And I hope it won't be the last.
Hahaha! Don't get heart-attack too early, kay?

It is a thorny yet wonderful road we are walking on now.
Though it is not a very "positive" thing for us, but I believe that it really helped us a lot
- in terms of our growth and our spiritual conditions...
But somehow, I do believe that God has a plan for both of us.
We had lots of arguments along the way..
But I want to thank you for your life. As below:

1.
Thanks for your ears.
No matter what I say, you are still listening to me.
Even when I'm not saying any sense - most of the time.
Or getting any logic in my words. Because my words are always flying up & down.

2.
Thanks for your eyes.
You told me how you look (study) me and I am surprised that without me saying anything, you understand the real me. I was really surprised. And I think I could still get surprise.

3.
Thanks for your heart.
You listened to me and observed me with your heart.
And you never stopped doing so. I thought you are just a liar. An actor.
But finally, I realized that you are not.
You are no longer someone called as a liar. You are who you are.
You read people's mind. You knew what people would do next.
You know many "predictions" by just observing how someone behaves.
*Sorry if anyone of you objected this*
And all because you walked your talk.

4.
Thank you for your life.
I believed that you gave your life, again, to God and wants to do your best to glorify Him. I know your heart desires to help the church. I know that you are willing to serve in this church though many principles are not fitted into your life. But you are still here and I believe that you want to stay here to be a blessing and also to be blessed. If you didn't have the heart to go on, you would have left the church earlier. But you knew that it is God's will for you to stay.

I know that you've been misunderstood many times by many people. But trust me, God is more powerful than all those problems. God knows your heart. God saw what you've done and what you did not. He knows. Don't be afraid when people misjudged you :)

His timing for everything is perfect.
Therefore, put your trust in Him. He never fails to fulfill every promise that He has made for you. Time has not come for you to do certain things.

Since today is your birthday (yey!), relax.
Although your course is very mabuk, still, God's peace is with you.
Don't worry so much about your study. You are smart.
Intelligence is one of God's gift. So, make full use of it ;P

I ♥ you, brother!
You opened my eyes to see reality, in terms of the consequences of my actions and behaviours. I learn a lot from you (as you learn from the past) and may you continue to be an encouragement to the life group. After all the years you suffered in other places, I believe that God wants you to finally settle down in Melaka and get ready for bigger things :)
He wants to use you, Yih Miin..

There are many things that I want to thank you.
Unfortunately, the stubbornness of my words still cannot be managed.
I took so long to write this post, what-more when I first start to write this.
I believe that I didn't really pour out everything I want to say here.
Don't know what to say larrr.. But put this aside.

May your dreams come true.
May God's will be fulfilled as it is in Heaven.
May you continue to seek Him as He is your Guide & Counsellor.
