Yesterday I woke up very late. No idea what time. The first thing I did was to put on the earphones to Miss 3200 and turned on FLY.FM. I heard that they are giving out Grammy Nominations cd that time, so I sent a song request. I didn't know that I've to register for it. Sigh. I did it and then DJ Steve said that we should send in our song request if we want to win the cd. I never thought of winning. I just want to listen to my favourite song. I asked for "No Air" by Jordin Sparks ft Chris Brown. I haven't heard that song for quite a long time. I waited and then someone called from KL. I picked up and...
STEVE from FLY.FM CALLED!
And his voice is really energetic! I knew that I won something but he made it sounds like he's just calling me up for fun :P so, he was like asking what was I doing etc etc. Then he told me that I've won...
I screamed. That's for sure.
Hey, I was so excited. It was my first time to win a cd. I've tried many times last time but I didn't win. I was so happy. When he played the recording in the radio, I heard myself talking. YUCK!! Hate my voice. Anyway, it was really awesome that he called and told me that I won something. I never, never, never expected to win something. But one funny thing happened. He gladly say out loud that I requested for The Click Five's Jenny. C'mon! I asked for No Air. But I didn't say anything. I just kept quiet. Later on when he called again, he explained to me why he couldn't play that song :P it was really funny.
Few hours later...
My mum stepped into my room and passed me a few blouses that look very new. She told me that her friend gave her those. I tried them on and I got so excited. Know why? For this Chinese New Year, I've decided not to get any new shirts. I've 3 new pants and only planning to buy some shoes. I already planned to wear my old but new clothes. Thank God because He provided me those blouses to wear during the new year. I was so grateful to Him that I cannot stop thanking Him. I was really, really excited. Really thank God for that
