The Silent Trip

I came back from my trip to KL yesterday. I went there on Thursday. The night before, I was at Sister Wendy's place. She sent me to the Central and I took the 8am bus - my ticket was 8.30am. The weather was so cold and her car (Toyota) has this powerful air cond. Since KL would never face cold weather (from my own experience), so I wasn't bothered about bringing a sweater. Silly me - it rained very cold!

When I arrived at Pudu Station, I hurried to Transnational ticket counter and bought for Friday's trip ticket. I waited for Pauline in the store because of the air cond. Who doesn't know that it is very hot in Pudu Station? Pauline came and brought me to Kotaraya to look for something. Up and down. Round and round we walk the same area twice and we did a U-turn. The weather is the kind of weather that easily makes Fiona to produce a bucket pail of sweat. Very hot

I look like a Japanese girl in the chequered shirt - from the mirror view
We arrived at her place about 11.30am.

I was tired - sweating makes people tired, really! That's her.

her apartment

she played Moonlight Sonata. lovely..

I got into her room and I saw...

a big HUGE puppy!

and her superb Compact laptop

And I bet that those who love music will envy this...

this...

and this...

Took bus and enjoyed the aircond

Who we went out with:

Le Chiak, Pui Kim, Stephanie

Where we went:

` Times Square
Popped into the food court for lunch. Me, Pauline, and Le Chiak shared food. I had Tom Yam Chicken *had stomach ache afterwards*, Pauline had Nasi Paprik Ayam *couldn't finish it and the gravy tastes like Tom Yam sauce*, and Le Chiak had Nasi Goreng Nenas * he hates it*.

` Sg. Wang
I was ecstatic when I finally got to the jewellery shop I went the first time. I bought 2 hair clips for my mum. On our way out, I saw strawberry ice-cream decorated with chocolate chips and chocolate syrup Le Chiak wanted to buy for me so he asked but at last, we didn't get it we went back to Times Square without Pui Kim and Stephanie. Le Chiak went home when we reached the main entrance of the mall but bumped into him in 7-11. He walked pretty fast

` JJ Maluri
I plan to get Nokia charger because I didn’t bring mine. It costs RM79 - original. Didn't buy it. Then, we went to Watson – bought nail polish: bronze and base coat colour. Pauline bought cream colour. After shopping, we went to the bus stop. We waited for 1 hour before the right bus came. There were so many buses no 62

What happened after that?

MOVIE!! We watched...

1 Litre of Tears

Erika Sawajiri as Aya Ikeuchi (actress)
Ryō Nishikido as Haruto Asō (actor)

comment: very touching .. i cried .. the story is based on true story ..

What happened on the next day?

Me and Pauline were supposed to go KLCC to check out Kinokuniya, but I slept till 11.30am, so we cancelled the plan. We were so lazy to go out too. So we decided to watch MOVIE!

Nodame Cantabile @ Concerto Love

Hiroshi Tamaki as Shinichi Chiaki (actor)
Juri Ueno as Megumi Noda (actress)

comment: love this movie so much! but too bad i couldn't finish it

Wee Eng came to Pauline's place and pick me up for a very late lunch. It was drizzling in KL and it is the perfect weather for me Call me crazy, I don't care. Hehe. I thought I'm going to be late for the bus because Wee Eng put me and the others at McDonald, Pudu. He went somewhere to do his work. When he arrived, it was almost 5.20pm I totally freaked out because my bus home is 5.30pm! When he parked along the road, I hurried myself to take the bags and ran into the station. I didn't even bother to say "bye" to Pui Kim and Stephanie. Luckily, it was just the boarding time. Phew

thanks for the memories

Thanks for the Memories

The joy being with Hope Place members excite me. The love they pour on me like His everlasting love; touching and undescribe-able. They help me to grow in Christ. They make sure they pay close attention to me, in case if I fall, they are ready to pick me up. They bless me many times especially for Church Retreat (April 14th - 16th) and Southern Region Church Camp (June 7th - 10th). I know it's also a burden for them because I know I am not the only who have financial problem, but they understand what situation I am going through and they, wholeheartedly, pay for my trip. Honestly, I'd rather not go but as a member of the church, we don't want to miss anyone out.

I always feel very sad whenever the sunday services, care groups, prayer meetings, and fellowships end. Because I will part from them and go home. I miss the fellowship very much. We talked a lot of stuffs, from church to camps, from studies to computers, from interests to travelling - anything at all. But only Sister Agnes that keeps me talking about Music :)

You see, for me, I realized that fellowship is very important in my life. Without it, I'd never know how to grow or understand what others are thinking. And I'd never know how God wants to bless or use me. And now, worse, I am having my semester break and most of my sisters and brothers went back to their hometown :'( Some of the students went to Genting Highlands. I am very lonely. But luckily, there's what we call Internet. Hahahaha ..

The Appreciation

Last night, I thought of buying her a cake from Giant/Secret Recipe/Starbucks and placed it in the refrigerator before she comes home from work. I know she'd opent he fridge and have a look in it - always. But I have forgotten about it and when it was 11pm, I only remembered it. It is obviously too late. Me, Stephanie, Pui Kim, and Jack were at a mamak stall having supper in town (no idea what's the name). Stephanie and Pui Kim celebrated Mother's Day last night and I was wondering.. why yesterday? It is today, the official day :) So, I was thinking about how to get the gift.

"Buy a cake tomorrow then give her straight away"

"Buy roses from the flower shop and give it to her .. but when they die, surely throw away"

"Go Watson buy for her the chitosan thing she wants"

"Bring her out to eat dinner or buy her new clothes"

"Give her a hug"

Ok, I am bad at making decisions. Surprised? When I am about to make a decision, suddenly a better idea comes up and then, when I wanted to do the decision-making again, another new idea comes up. See how bad I am :'( I don't sit down and jot down a long list of the things I can do for her. It's for my mum, not someone else. So, I can actually do anything to please her. Friends, I really think you should put aside the pen and paper, for once! Haha.

Finally, I made up my mind. It is.. getting her something healthy - something that she would use - something that would make her stop thinking about her tummy *grins* So, I got her .. 2 bottels of Essentials which are:

Right, so Fiona did not do her 'duty' as a blogger to update her blog. Sorry for that. She doesn't have any idea what to write. Honest! Although the past few days, there are something happened, still, she don't think that they're interesting enough to share with you all in here, unlike Jazzy Pam and Jasz who have heaps of interesting and happening stuffs to share

why?

Well, it's proven that she's a boring girl.

Ok, not to talk lame stuffs here. I am listing down what Mr Boredom-ness bringing me this May :)

So, that's all about it :P

Random Info:

Anyone interested to watch them with me?? Call me!!

I am feeling

Above has said.. Here's what had happened..

kelisa got towed away

financial not stable

That's what I need for this week. But luckily, God sent me an angel to help me with the reports for BMC and BHR. I hope he can make it tomorrow since it's a holiday and both of us have the time to do the reports together. Thank God :)

The "Religious" Debate

My heart had stopped beating fast. Haha! It was about the debate thing. The groups' topic is "Should Suicide Be a Criminal Offense?" and my group's stand is the opponent. So we say NO. We have 5 members each and my part was to talk about the LAW. Well, since our topic is all about criminal offense, I really need to talk about LAW, right? Ok, so I talked about mine and surprisingly, the propenants have nothing to say. I saw their blurring looks and they have only ONE law to support their facts. Thanks to Bro Jameson who helped me from last night till this morning.

But, everyone of us happily shooting each other with Morality points. Our group obviously stayed on track and kept saying "It's not a crime". Over and over again. Why didn't I ask them about LAW? I have those laws in my hands and why I just can't shoot them...?

It was because... I can't find any "hole" to fill in about LAW :'(

I can't wait for the result.
Hopefully we will win...

a Song for Me?

When I enter U-Center in Taman Ixora a little while ago, I was embarrassed. Not by anyone but by the song that was being played. There is ONE song that would embarrass me.. The artist is from Malaysia and this song used to be a hit - 10++ years back... I can't help smiling but I had to stop myself from doing that or else people would think I am crazy! Haha. I felt so 'geli'. Have a guess which song it is :)

it is "Fiona" by 4U2C

I can't help being embarrassed by the lyrics! The guy was like singing .. (translated) "Your voice .. I am missing you .." The HORROR! My heart was like beating a little faster than usual and all I want to do is to get out from that place!

Cut-Off Presentation

Yet again, I was cut-off during my presentation.
I was to present the philosophy, vision, mission, and objectives of Kamana Resorts.

Probably I wasn't enthusiastic enough - as what the lecturer pointed out - to capture the audience' attention. Probably I was talking so softly. Probably my words hopped onto each other. And probably, I don't even have a clue on what I'm supposed to say. But I can sincerely say that I had been through presentations many times but sad to say - again and again - I still have stage fright.

My fears are still showing because I've 2 more presentations, Human Resource Management and Managerial Communications. This semester I felt so, so, so bored to do the stuffs (anything like assignments, printing notes, taking down important dates etc). And that caused a huge amount of blur-ness in my brain.

The topics for all of the presentations are riotous
(in the sense that you will laugh pathetically in front of the pc):
` English - Business Plan: underwater resort and spa
` Human Resource - General: Gender Discrimination, Women Managers
` Managerial Com. - Debate: Advantages of Suicide

Advantages? Honestly, being a Christian, I have a very tricky time to think for the advantages of suicide. It is like agreeing to suicides and HELL, God forbids suicides. And I have to remind myself - again and again - I need good grades - in order to please Him... Hehe.

Oh by the way, for those who don't know the meaning of SUICIDE, I guess you better read the next line...

Suicide = Soul Martyrdom after Death

Life Is a Gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word
` Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food
` Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife
` Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life
` Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children
` Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep
` Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive
` Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job
` Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another
` Remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down
` Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around.

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight.
You can and should trust your intuition.

The (After) Life of a Party

Ahhh .. it was definitely a tiring trip up to and down from Cameron Highlands .. Here is a list of what troubles and excitements we came across at the beginning and the end of the trip ..

Troubles:
April 14th
Venue: KFC (somewhere)
Time: Noon

"Isaac tried to start the engine but failed. And those who were sitting in the car have to fit into the other cars. It was very sad because it was just the beginning of the journey and the car broke down."

April 16th
Venue: Before Seremban until Alor Gajah
Time: Evening - Night

"All of us were behind schedule. When we were at Tapah's rest place when Joey's car went dead. They said that it's the battery fault. Jonathan called David who were at a workshop to come and help. After that, the car came back to 'live'. It started to rain heavily as we were heading our way home. When it comes to almost 7pm, the ones in the vans went for dinner in Sg Buluh. We went to look for food nearby. I had Burger King. After stuffing ourselves, we started our journey again. We were supposed to reach Malacca by 6pm but we arrived at the highway by 10.30pm."

Excitements:
April 14th
Venue: Pasar Malam
Time: 7pm

"We played a game in the night market. We were given one piece of paper, with a list of riddles written on it. We were supposed to look for the answer and take pics with it -- with all the group members. But our group were the 'bad' one because at one time, one went missing and wehad to look for them. Alas, we can't finish the game. We had our punishment :("

the riddles

the fried mushrooms .. yummy!!

not forgetting... the strawberries

(behind: Alex, Myles, Blessings, Emmanuel, Abraham, TK)
(front: Joanne, me, David)

April 15th
Venue: Mt Brinchang
Time: Noon

"It was my first -- but not going to be last time going up a mountain. Well, it's supposed to be Jungle Trekking. It was a lovely experience. I have no idea what's up there or how beautiful it is, I have an urge to get in there. Me, Shin Jie, Joanne, Pai Chet, and Joey went up together. The scenery was splendid! I was amazed by God's creation every now and then. The trees are so tall and grand. The soft and moist moss is so... mesmerizing! I can't get enough of the beautiful Mother Nature and I continued climbing with all my might with Phillip to the top."

Shin Jie, Pai Chet, me, Joanne

Phillip, me, (behind) Richard

Joanne, Pai Chet, Joey, Kera

April 16th
Venue: Winter House
Time: 9.45am

"The outdoor game was fun -- The Drawing Game! There was a conflict between Benjamin and Zebulun care group on what to draw/write on the white banner. A brother wanted to write out their group's vision but a sister wanted to show the vision in pictures. But soon, the argument ended as we started our 'job'. And here is the banner:"

And we took a pic of those who wore Red:

Jasmine, Aaron, Joanne, me, Wee Kiat, Paul, Buma

Last night, I found out that the big van got into an accident with a Kancil. The driver was driving at 90km/hour and he said that he can't stop in time although the distance is enough. So, the van hit the back of the Kancil. From their description, it was hit badly. There were 16 people in the van. Plus, the road was wet. Thank God the van did not have any dents. And thank God the people are safe.

Total break downs: 5 cars + 1 van

p.s: more pictures coming up!

Thanks to Alex (green) for joining us:

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Bro Buma (in yellow) went back to Sarawak today on the 3pm flight. It was very sad to see him leave. We had a farewell yam cha last night and he cried. He has been a great bro in Hope of God and it was really sad that he has to go back. Well, he had told me about going back on the 18th and I felt so so upset. It means he would be staying there till... God knows when. I just hope we are able to meet up sometime later. Farewell Brother Buma. May God bless you always!

EGGiesh News

Cheers to my new blog skin! Hehe. I think this skin is really warm and very country like. I don't quite remember what movie Keira Knightley acted in but I received many comments about it being a great movie. I wanted to watch it at first but I've forgotten all about it in the next minute. How 'great' my memory isn’t it?

So, there's not much new things happened these few days.

Easter Sunday (8/4) was great. Benjamin Care Group did Easter Eggs. We boiled 60 eggs and dunked them into 2 bowls with colouring (red and green). Here is one of the don't-look-nice green eggs that was left and thrown away. What a waste! I didn't even get one. *updated* My friend said that his camera has no battery to take the picture, therefore he did not eat it. And when he has the batteries, he assumed the egg is... you know

p.s: probably you guys can recognize whose handwriting that is...

Then there was a performance by the Africans (and Paul Lee, their leader). They danced some hip hop dance and Paul was good! Ok, so not really (no offence) but Jobe (who looks like Kanye West) was so natural! So were Blessings, Irene, Frederick, and the others.

EGGCITING NEWS!

This is where I am heading this Saturday till Monday for Church Retreat. Can you guess where is this beautiful place? I'm going off there with Hope of God Malacca people and also, Alex. Yeyness! It will be my FIRST church camp ever! My mum finally let me out of the cage. I am very excited till whenever I see my church friends, I'd go crazy. I mean, you could hardly believe that you are going somewhere far when your mother used to forbid you. Wow. Isn't God great? He answered my prayer, again :)
